1) Religion plays a big part in the history of art and I know nothing about any religion
2) The jargon/vocabulary makes it difficult to understand and read the textbook. Descriptions of the work leaves me at a loss and I could only stare at the images provided with the text. Gothic variation of Corinthian capital? Say whaa?
I'm taking this step by step and have already developed a vocabulary list in the back of my notebook. ^^ Rest assured, I will know what this all means by the end of this semester!
