病気になる? いやだ!

I think I might have gotten ahead of myself while I'm here, away from home.

First of all, I amazed myself by being able to survive such cold weather because I've never experienced weather colder than 60 degrees before. Since the climate gets colder than 40 degrees here and I wear about the same amount of clothes I would at home, I'd like to think that I've gotten used to the coldness. Second of all, I suffer from congestion everyday at home, but I've never experienced anything of that sort since coming here. Is my dorm room less dusty than my room at home? Is Oregon air better than Hawaii air? Third, I do not have my mother here to nag me about my eating habits. So I eat whatever. I am still more healthy than my brother and sister on most days because I love my fruits and vegetables... but I've also been eating junk food to save money. Donuts for breakfast, fries for lunch, and poptarts for dinner? Not good.

とにかく, いまちょっと気分が悪い. 咽がいたくて, お腹もいたい. I did have a very long and tiring trip to Portland on Saturday and drank the water, which I later found out was tested positive for e.coli. Maybe I received a little poisoning. こわい!

I really do not want to get sick. My throat is funny right now, which is always a sign that I will get sick because all of the other symptoms come after that.

I ate a humble breakfast today: an orange and oatmeal sprinkled with raisins.

I think I am sick if I can willingly shove oatmeal down my throat.

I hate oatmeal.
