Today, I went to the North Shore with my bestie Kayla and her parents. <3 I had slept over Friday night so we could leave in the morning~ I consider this my first time because I've only gone to that side of the island to visit Camp Erdman and the Polynesian Cultural Center, but never the beach or Haleiwa. It was my first time just lying on the beach and tanning for several hours. I did get darker, but I applied sunscreen unevenly so my tan looks bad. >_<;
We were going to leave after the beach, but I needed to use the restroom, so we ended up doing some unintentional shopping! First, we stopped by Aoki's Shave Ice, where I got the Local Mix (pineapple, mango, li hing mui) with azuki beans. It melted too fast for me. ^^; Then we explored some shops~ which I found pretty interesting. I bought a really cute pair of shorts for $23.
